The Jurisocial Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice recognizes and respects the intellectual property rights of authors. Authors retain copyright in their original scholarly work and grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication in electronic and print formats, where applicable.

By submitting a manuscript for publication, authors authorize the Jurisocial Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice to publish, reproduce, distribute, communicate, and make the article publicly accessible as part of the journal's scholarly record. The journal will be identified as the original publisher of the work.

The Jurisocial Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice does not require authors to transfer copyright to the journal as a condition of publication. The journal's non-exclusive publishing rights do not prevent authors from exercising the rights retained by them under the applicable Creative Commons licence.

Neither authors nor third parties may impose additional legal or technological restrictions that prevent uses expressly permitted by the applicable Creative Commons licence.

By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) confirm that they have the necessary rights to grant the journal the publishing rights described above and that the manuscript does not knowingly infringe the copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of any third party.

The journal encourages authors to disseminate their research responsibly and widely while maintaining proper attribution and preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.
