Repository Policy

Repository and Self-Archiving Policy

The Jurisocial Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice supports the responsible dissemination, accessibility, and long-term preservation of scholarly research. Authors are permitted to deposit and share their published work through institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, and recognized academic platforms, including ResearchGate, Academia.edu, ORCID, and other appropriate scholarly repositories.

Authors may deposit the published article (Version of Record), where technically and legally permitted, in an institutional or subject repository and may also share it through their personal or professional academic webpages and research profiles.

Any deposited or shared version of an article must provide clear and accurate attribution to the Jurisocial Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice as the original place of publication. Authors are encouraged to include the article's complete bibliographic citation and DOI, where applicable, together with a link to the official version of record on the journal's website.

The journal does not impose an embargo period on the self-archiving of articles. Authors may therefore make their published articles publicly accessible immediately following publication, subject to appropriate attribution and preservation of the integrity of the published work.

Authors should not alter, modify, or misrepresent the published version when depositing it in a repository. Any subsequent corrections, retractions, or editorial notices issued by the journal should also be reflected or appropriately linked where practicable.

This policy is intended to promote open access, facilitate scholarly communication, enhance the discoverability and impact of published research, and support the long-term preservation and accessibility of the scholarly record.

The Jurisocial Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice reserves the right to update this policy in accordance with evolving standards and best practices in scholarly publishing, open access, research integrity, and publication ethics.
